Plans to bring, what used to be one of the major employment centres in Rostrevor, back to life are at an advanced stage.  The Valley Business Park is well known to the people of the area and has been acquired by PC Plant / Warren Properties with a view to restoring its former presence as a major employer.  Pre-application discussions have commenced with the Planning Service which involve the demolition of the existing former dyeworks building to be replaced by modern business park premises which will be sympathetically designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape (see concept sketches).
